We have 20 spots available for this trip, and once again, we'll be staying at the wonderful Banda Guest House.
As always, each participant will be responsible for arranging their own flight details. This allows those with air miles to use them as they see fit. Our only requirement is that EVERYONE must arrive in Entebbe by May 24th, where we will spend the night together at the Sunset Entebbe Hotel. On the morning of May 25th, we'll set off for Masaka.
We're thrilled to witness the 2024 team coming together. It's always incredible to see how God orchestrates this, and each year we assemble a perfect group of individuals. We encourage you to consider joining us , and if you know someone who would be a great addition, please share this opportunity with them. The program has yet to be defined but everything will revolve around the students, so be prepared to play, mentor and enjoy pouring into the lives of our wonderful children.
The total cost, excluding airfare, will be $995.00 per person. This covers all in-country expenses. Additionally, you'll need to apply for your VISA online, which costs $50.00. If you haven't been to Uganda before, please ensure you get all the necessary vaccinations, the cost of which varies by location. You'll also require a malaria prescription and, of course, your flight. We recommend traveling through Amsterdam from the US, as this minimizes the need for overnight stays along the way. We can provide guidance on a cost-effective insurance program as well.
During the week, we'll be offering a one-day safari for those interested, at an approximate added cost of $100. Alternatively, if you'd like to extend your adventure with a safari or gorilla trek either before or after our time in Masaka, please let us know. We have an excellent contact who operates a safari business in Masaka.
