The Covid -19 Virus has had a devastating impact on the world yet every day we hear amazing stories of selfless giving and heroic acts. Peter & Rose Mukongo are our heros but they recently suffered a terrible loss... we need your help! Peter and Rose are our directors in Uganda. They give selflessly to support over 250 children and care for their every need. When the Ugandan government mandated that all of the children leave the schools and return to their homes and guardians Peter and Rose made it happen. However over 50 of the children that we support have no homes to go to so they returned to "The Ranch" , the house and land that Peter and Rose have donated and dedicated as a safe place for these children when they are out of school. Because of the circumstances, curfews and quarantines Peter, Rose and their entire family temporarily moved from their home to be with the children. Sadly, while they were giving selflessly to be with the children, thieves selfishly broke into their home and stole EVERYTHING! Children's clothes, baby Cormac's toy's, sheets, blankets, mattresses & furniture. They cleaned the house of everything except the dining table & chairs and three mattresses! A tragic story and one that Ali and I are determined to rectify.
If you would like to help we are trying to raise $4,000 to enable the Mukongo family to replace the most essential of stolen items. To donate through U2UGANDA4life please click on one of the links.
