NURSING PROGRAM

In 2010 Dr. Kizza realized a life long dream and opened the Nursing School adjacent to the Medical Center at Kalungi. Uganda has very strict standards for its Nurses and as a result, opening a Nursnig School is a very difficult task, of 15 schools that requested registration in 2010 this was the only license issued.

Every student is interviewed by the Schools administrator and only those with the appropriate qualifications are accepted. 

There are now over a hundred students attending the nursing program and while some have the means to pay for their tuition and board [$3,200 for the 30 month program] many of them do not.
